Are you looking for a campsite in the Achterhoek for your next vacation? Camping Vreehorst is located in the eastern part of the Achterhoek, close to the German border. In the middle of the Winterswijk National Landscape, you will find our campsite in the Achterhoek. We offer spacious camping pitches, including pitches with private sanitary facilities that will make your vacation in the Achterhoek very comfortable! Would you prefer a bit more comfort? Then our accommodations are an excellent choice! We offer various accommodations on our campsite in the Achterhoek for a maximum of two to six people. At the resort, you will not be bored for a moment! Our swimming pool guarantees hours of fun swimming, both indoors and outdoors. Plus, the children can have fun on the playground or with the entertainment team. We look forward to seeing you at Camping Vreehorst!

Op onze camping in de Achterhoek heb je keuze uit diverse kampeerplaatsen. Onze kampeerplaatsen zijn altijd voorzien van minimaal 8 ampère stroom, een wateraansluiting, digitale televisie en een rioolaansluiting. Verder bieden wij naast onze basis plekken ook plekken met privé sanitair. Dit houdt in dat je kunt genieten van een eigen douche, toilet én wastafel op de plaats. Onze familiecamping beschikt over drie ruime toiletgebouwen en een wasserette. Wanneer je toch liever kiest voor een vakantiehuisje kun je er ook voor kiezen om een vakantiehuis te huren tijdens jouw vakantie in de Achterhoek.

Facilities at our campsite in the Achterhoek

During your vacation at Camping Vreehorst, there is plenty to experience! For example, you can enjoy a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or the indoor swimming pool. Alternatively, you can unwind in our sauna. Find the most beautiful cycling and hiking routes at our inspiration point, where you can put together your own route in the route mixer. So you decide where your Achterhoek adventure will lead you! Then rent a bike and discover the beautiful bocage landscape with your self-guided route. The children will have a great time with the entertainment team (during vacation periods) or make friends on the playground or in the nutmeg cage. In the shop, you can buy some delicious ice cream (tip: you can fill it yourself!) or get fresh rolls for breakfast or lunch. After a busy day, you can enjoy a bite to eat in our food corner at our campsite in the Achterhoek.

Discover the surrounding area of Camping Vreehorst

Although there is plenty to do at our campsite in the Achterhoek with a swimming pool, you can also enjoy discovering the beautiful area surrounding Camping Vreehorst. Our campsite is located in the middle of the Winterswijk National Landscape and is, therefore, the perfect starting point to discover the bocage landscape of the Achterhoek. For example, you can visit the Winterswijk Quarry. A quarry that is still active is mainly known for its breeding eagle owls. You can only visit the quarry with a guide, but you can also walk and cycle around the magnificent site (Tip: bring binoculars with you!). Alternatively, you can go on a day trip to Germany from our nature campsite; visit the Anholter Schweiz Zoo or the towns of Bocholt, Vreden, and Coesfeld. It goes without saying that you should not miss out on Winterswijk. This charming village offers plenty of enjoyable shopping, many delicious restaurants, and a busy market on Saturdays. Bieden jullie ook plekken voor campers?

Jazeker! Campers zijn van harte welkom op onze camping in de Achterhoek. Voor campers bieden wij verharde plekken, gelegen net buiten de camping. Ons camperpark heeft een eigen toegang en ook hierbij is het mogelijk om gebruik te maken van zowel de sanitaire gebouwen als het binnen- en buitenzwembad.

Zijn honden toegestaan op jullie camping?

Absoluut! Ook jullie dierenvriend(en) zijn bij ons van harte welkom. Hiervoor hanteren wij de regel maximaal twee honden per kampeerplaats/ accommodatie. Daarnaast mag jullie trouwe viervoeter in het laagseizoen zelfs los lopen op onze camping en volledig meegenieten van de natuurrijke omgeving.
